Content
-Introduction to undergraduate student supervision at JyU.
-Supervising doctoral thesis.
-Doctoral students' engagement and disengament in their doctoral studies/academic career.
-Supervising, Counselling & Guidance and advice giving - not a same thing!
-Responsible conduct of research – recommendations and guidelines from the Finnish Advisory Board on Research Integrity (TENK).
Completion methods
Lectures, workshop, pre-assignments. It is expected that students will attend 100 % of the taught programme and do the pre-assignments.
