Theoretical studies and practical work. The contents of 2 and 3 credit point courses are different.
Completion methods
The course includes both theoretical studies and laboratory work. In order to complete the course, one should do the given exercises and practical work.
Assessment details
The assessment of the course is based on the complement of the given exercises according to assessment criteria given at the beginning of the course.

Learning outcomes
After course the student understands following things both in theory and in practice depending weather he/she completes 2 or 3 credits: 1) to work in laboratory safely and handle laboratory waste properly, 2) to keep laboratory note book, 3) prepare solutions, 4) knows the basis of some basic biochemical laboratory methods and terminology, and 5) how to use Excel and write laboratory reports
