Learning outcomes

The course develops reading skills, including Chinese idioms, poems, contemporary newspaper articles and simple novels, and enlarges students' vocabulary. After this course, students can use more complex grammatical structures and sentence patterns to communicate about a variety of topics using description, explanation and comparison. Target level at the end of the course: HSK 4+ (CEFR B2.2-C1).

Additional information

Course is suitable for students who have completed Kiina 4 course or an equivalent level or for those who have completed an exchange programme in China and would like to continue their Chinese studies at an advanced level.
