Description
Content
The course focuses on activation and development of independent writing, use of online tools, structure and types of academic texts (term papers, summaries), features of academic language, practicing process writing, reporting and citing.
Completion methods
One contact lesson (2 hrs) per week and approximately 20 hrs of independent study. Continuous teacher and peer feedback, and on-line interaction on written assignments in Moodle. Compulsory attendance in class tutorials.
Assessment details
Compulsory and active participation. Successful completion of core assignments. Final grading is based on the applicable grading scale for the course.
