Content
The structure of the program. Generating a data file and modifying it. Splitting a file and selcting a subset of a variable. Merging files. Statistics, tests and analysing methods used in the basic courses of statistics. Describing data using graphs and tables. Connections to other programs. The interpretation of the results is learned in the basic courses of statistics in this course more important is how to do things using SPSS.

The course is passed, when all the answers in the test are correct.
Learning outcomes
To know how to use SPSS. After the course a student knows how to:
save the data as SPSS data file
describe the data and assosiation between the variables using tables, graphs and statistics which are familiar from the basic courses in statistics
use statistical tests and analysis in simple studies
transfer the tables and graphs in reports
