Description

Content

Electronics workshop safety instructions will be introduced to the students. The students will get hands-on training in basic principles of electronics circuit design, simulation and manufacturing. During the course the students will manufacture a basic amplifier circuit from scratch and implement it to measurement setup.

Completion methods

Lectures 3 x 2h, supervised working at the computer class and the electronics workshop 10 x 2h, project work.

Assessment details

Attendance during the course and a completed project work.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students are familiar with the equipment, working methods and the safety guidelines needed when working at the electronics workshop. They will be able to design and manufacture basic electronics circuits. After the course, students are allowed to work at the electronics workshop independently.

Description of prerequisites

FYSS6301 Electronics, part A and FYSS6302 Electronics, part B or similar.
