A field course at a research station (e.g, Lammi biological station). Measurements of solar radiation, its absorption, scattering, fluorescence, and attenuation of solar radiation. Organized together with the University of Helsinki

An intensive field course at a research station. Optical measurements in the laboratory and in the field. Calculating and analyzing the results, seminar and a course report.

Performance in the field and in the laboratory, activity at the seminar and a course report.

Learning outcomes

After the course the student knows how to perform optical measurements in the laboratory and in the field.
