After passing this exam the students will be able to
• explain key concepts, theories and approaches in bilingualism
• discuss and evaluate research on core areas in the field, including issues related to the bilingual individual, bilingualism in the community, language minorities and bilingual education
• apply knowledge from research in discussing practical questions in the area of bilingualism
