Content

This course focuses on ecosystem processes, trophic dynamics and how diversity is created and maintained in ecosystems and how diversity and ecosystem function interact. Basic network architecture analysis is introduced.

Exam (1-5) and seminar (pass/fail).

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student:
- knows the main theories and concepts in ecosystem ecology
- is able to analyse the architecture of ecological networks and understands the connection between network structure and stability
