Content
In the lectures the main principals and theories on bilingual development will be introduced as well as the role and impact of bilingualism in the society.By means of exercises the student will learn to understand the manifestation of bilingualism at different stages of life.

Learning outcomes
The student understand the main principals of bilingual development and the impact of bilingualism on a personal and societal level. The student also understands how bilingualism relates to communicative problems and how it can be disentangled from language disorders.
