Content

During this course the students will familiarise themselves in the field of working life and various expert tasks and jobs in language and communication. The course will develop the students ability to observe, describe, evaluate and structure their own learning, their strengths and their own developmental needs and plans. The students will also reflect on the productisation of their knowledge and skills and assess the possibilities for their commercialisation. The course supports the working life relevance of studies in the middle and final phases of the BA programme.

After completing the course the student can
• increase and maintain her/his working life knowledge
• set career goals based on her/his self-knowledge and working life knowledge
• plan her/his studies in relation to her/his career goals
• reflect on the productisation of one's knowledge and skills and make plans for their commercialisation
• structure and evaluate her/his knowledge and skills and their commercialisation, as well as document her/his knowledge and skills in a presentation portfolio
