Sisältö

The fundamentals of the public, private, volunteer and top-level economics of sport. Emphasis is put on different values in sport, public funding of sport (subsidies, taxes, and government intervention), definitions and theories about non-profit activities in sport and issues on amateur and professional sport.
Liikunta- ja urheiluorganisaatioiden taloushallinnon perusteet.

Suoritustavat

Active participation to lectures 24 hours, writing assignments, a book exam. Johdantoluento taloushallinnosta ja yhdistyksen, säätiön tai yrityksen tilinpäätösanalyysin kirjoittaminen.

Arviointiperusteet

Lecture examination 30%, book examination 30 %, completing the writing assignment, taloushallinnon kirjallinen työ 40 %. Compulsory attendance at 80% of the lectures.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, student is able to:
- identify the necessary concepts, tools and models to understand the basic structures of the economy of sports
- osaa analysoida organisaation taloutta tilinpäätöskertomuksen, tuloslaskelman ja taseen perusteella
