Content
This course offers work-related practice in writing. By analyzing the main features of the different genres, the students will acquire the terms and the style used in written business communication.
Completion methods
Contact teaching, group work, pair work, regular home assignments, portfolio of written assignments and reflection.
Assessment details
Assessment is based on overall participation (1/3) and the final portfolio that the students submit at the end of the course (2/3).
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to

- understand and use business-related terminology;
- formulate messages in a formal style for a specific context, audience, and purpose;
- produce different kinds of texts that are used in professional working life.
